I decided to apply to the Pamplin College of Business because it was competitively ranked, and I knew that a major in business would make me highly competitive in the job market. Did I know exactly what I wanted to do with a degree in finance and accounting at the age of 18? No, but that's the great thing about business. It's extremely versatile. I'm thankful to Virginia Tech, Pamplin, and S.E.E.D. for providing me with a well-rounded education and giving me the tools that I need to succeed out of college.
The faculty and staff at Pamplin go above and beyond to help students excel. This past summer, I was offered multiple internship opportunities, and I believe it's because Pamplin really prepares students for the business world.
